Young people today are completely at ease with the wide range of technology and communications channels that are open to them.However, while this can be a positive advantage including assisting learning, it can also put them at risk.

In our free e-safety sessions for parents, we will present the dangers and the solutions that will keep children safe. This includes:

Is there a version of Office 365 for Education?


Students and teachers are eligible for Office 365 for Education, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and now Microsoft Teams, plus additional classroom tools. All you need to get started is a valid school email address!

What is Office 365 Education?


Office 365 Education is a collection of services that allows you to collaborate and share your schoolwork. It’s available for free to teachers who are currently working at an academic institution and to students who are currently attending an academic institution.

The service includes Office Online (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote), 1TB of OneDrive storage, Yammer, and SharePoint sites. Some schools allow teachers and students to install the full Office applications on up to 5 PCs or Macs for free.

What is Windows 10?


Windows 10 is the latest operating system to be released by Microsoft. It’s an upgrade from Windows 8 and all the touch and tablet features that version offered. Windows 10 is the new and improved operating system, with better security, a new browser, virtual assistant Cortana, and lots more features.
