Malware, viruses, spyware, ransomware and more... your business is continually under threat from cyber crooks who are always looking for new ways to undermine your IT systems.
Sugar-coating the problem won’t do you any favours, but at Mirus, we can help with cyber security solutions.
A recent iteration of Malware is designed to infect executables with a script called CoinHive that runs, causing the device to start mining for Cryptocurrencies.
This script uses all the infected computers processing power and sends the resulting Cryptocurrency back to the criminals.
The malware can also inject the script into html files making it possible to “consistently run” it on the infected system. When the user runs the html file, the mining begins and stops when the html page is closed. While running, the script takes up 100 per cent of CPU usage for mining.
If you are infected with Malware or other such viruses, Mirus IT can help you remove these infections, and once removed, we can help you ensure that you don’t get re-infected.

The more often you back up your data, the better. But it also means that you need more storage. One solution is incremental backup, which captures only information that has changed since your last backup. This reduces storage requirements.
For business critical applications, which change more frequently, backup is usually run every few hours.
In short, everything. You should back up your entire IT infrastructure, not just your files and databases. This means your servers, PCs, application settings, operating system configurations, bookmarks – all of it.
