The very first #MRIED18 incentive

Today is the very first #MRIED day. We were asked to consciously reduce the number of internal emails we send and have been positively encouraged to spend time talking to each other. MRIED stands for Mirus Reduce Internal Emails Day.

The campaign is to encourage less email and more communications, and it was a suggestion from one of the team.We've explained the concept, handed out some T-Shirts with some reminder messages on and we've given everyone a tub of sweets.
The deal is that each time someone comes over and talks to you, they get to choose a sweet.  
It's quite obviously working, and there's a lot more laughter in the building today as we communicate in person and eat a whole heap of sweets.
Andy, our Senior Client Manager commented "As a new starter in the business I felt that I was spending a lot of time emailing my colleagues, and it was becoming a bit of a habit. If we spend more time speaking to each other, we build better relationships face to face, plus you generally find out more information and it's a better, and more invested experience."  
"Today has been busy but there has been more interaction, and I've heard lots more laughter. I hope it means that we find it easier to have a chat with each other and get issues resolved quicker. I've also eaten a few too many sweets."
