Members of the MTeam had anything but the typical lazy Sunday this last week, with 12 of our most active members tackling the Swanbourne Endeavour; a mud-soaked, 5km run beginning and ending in Swanbourne House School and sees runners tackling streams, fields, mud-soaked pits and piles of hay on their journey.
The Swanbourne Endeavour is all in aid of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Assocation (SSAFA), The Royal British Legion, The Bucks Services Charities, The Puzzle Centre and Medical Detection Dogs.
Yet MTeam members present on the day didn’t only have their charity assistance to be proud of; they also managed to be the first team effort over the finish line in the Elite 5k course! So congratulations are due to our 12 participants; Joe Humphries, Nick Sanderson, Jake McAllister, Hannah Braxton, James Thompson, Katie Barrington, Tom Williams, Shaun O’Hanlon, David Willis, Darren Challender, Paul Tomlinson and Eoin Tomlinson. Fantastic work, lads and ladies!
This wouldn’t be the first team effort that Mirus has conquered this year. This June, we also won the Fastest Corporate Team award in the Milton Keynes Soapbox Derby, and we continue to partake in such grand charity fundraising causes as our 30 Mile Walk and November’s upcoming CEO Sleepout.
Keep an eye on the Mirus blog - we have a feeling 2020 will be just as packed!
