Excellent achievement for Mark Barrett
Mark "The Machine" Barrett has successfully completed his London to Brighton 100km (62.1 mile) run, raising well over his £250 target, achieving (at the time of posting) a WHOPPING £860! #Winning!
Not only did Mark complete the race but he totally SMASHED it placing 20th out of 843 entrants securing his place in the Champs final!

More about the event
The route has 4 stages of 20km-31km, with a 'Rest Stop' at the end - with food & drink, toilets, & full support teams. In between - there are 'Mid Point Stops' with snacks & drinks, toilets, and medics. The total ascent (climb) across the 100km course is estimated at 1419 metres.
