Hidden Keylogger on laptop models

HP laptop models found to have hidden keylogger

In light of the recent report that HP Laptops have been found to have hidden and pre-installed keylogging software which poses a potential security vulnerability, Mirus can confirm that all pre-installed software is removed from  the PC’s that we configure for clients.

As an IT Service Provider, Mirus IT reconfigures and reimages PC’s for clients in house. This ensures that unnecessary Bloatware and any superfluous third party software is removed, and we do this as a matter of course as part of our security awareness.

During this process, all drivers are updated to ensure less vulnerabilities from legacy software and greater data integrity. On an ongoing basis, Mirus continually checks clients’ drivers and software, and updates their hardware and software regularly.

The three pillars of Mirus are:

Delivering outstanding service.
Offering strategically successful solutions.
Providing consistent customer satisfaction.
