Mat Smith is one of Mirus’ longest serving team members and has always had a passion for playing pool. Mat has been playing for a pool team based in South Leicestershire for a number of years now and recently Mat and his team decided to take on a challenge. The challenge was to beat the current world record of a continuous singles pool match. The record currently stands at 52 hours, Mat’s team set the bar high and were aiming for a whopping 76 hours of straight pool!
Well we are proud to announce that the team completed their world record attempt for the longest game of pool ever recorded! The team played for 75 hours and 13 minutes! Congratulations to Mat and the team for an extraordinary feat, one that will be remembered for a very long time.
