Team Mirus had a great ride at Champneys yesterday with all of the Mirus riders apart from one completing the 36 mile route, which they say wasn’t too pretty on some of the hill climbs.
Everyone took on the challenge in great spirits and had a lot of encouragement from supporters and the race volunteers – we’re not sure whether Satan was helping, or basking in the fact that everyone else was doing all the hard work! As random as his appearance was, the support and smiles were very welcome.
The MD of Champneys personally thanked Mirus for their fantastic efforts and commented on how great everyone looked in their Mirus Challenge shirts. Mirus actually managed to round up the largest team for the day and also raised a considerable amount for Champneys chosen charity.
Thanks to everyone who sponsored us!
It’s now less than 2 weeks before Team Mirus take on the Lake District Ultra Challenge giving them just about enough recovery time before they attack another challenge. The team’s fundraising campaign continues as they aim to raise £2000 for local charity AYME (Association of Young People with ME). As always, donations are much appreciated.
Well done Team Mirus.
